Peu de temps avant Noël, l'un des elfes du pays des jouets s'envole à bord du traîneau du Père Noël. Incapable de le contrôler, il finit par s'écraser dans une petite ville américaine, perdant le sac à jouets magique qu'utilise son patron pour distribuer les cadeaux aux enfants du monde entier. La situation est grave. Heureusement, Beethoven, un courageux saint-bernard, aide l'elfe à récupérer le sac, tombé entre les mains de malfaiteurs. Parviendront-ils à sauver Noël ?
